Goodnight Star-Judy Nieymeyer Foundation Paper Piecing 8/29, 9/12
This is a brand new Judy Niemeyer Foundation Paper Piecing Class being taught by our newest Quiltworx Instructor, Shelia Teague. Shelia is a retired FBI Agent and she will be coming to Bolts & Quarters Quilt Shop to teach this class, from Clarksburg. So the registration minimum is at least 2 or more participants.
The first class is a 1/2 day session from 9:30am-1:30pm and is just a preliminary planning and preparation session with instructions on cutting, procedures, etc. The second full day class is to actually work on putting the strips and blocks together.
Fabric Requirements: Bring at least (1) 2 1/2" Strip of (16) different fabrics, or 3/8 yard of 9 different fabrics, and 3 1/2 yards each of a black and white background fabrics.
Class Supplies Needed: Rotary cutter, cutting mat needed for both classes. Then for 2nd class, bring them again, along with: 50 wt thread, Size 70/10 needles, Add a Quarter 12" Ruler, Paper and Fabric Scissors, Flat Head Pins, Binder clips, Stiletto, Elmers Repositionable Gluestick, Gallon size Ziplock Bags, seam ripper, fabric marking pen/pencil/chalk.
