Quilt on a Sternwheeler!
Join us for a unique experience as we offer the first quilt class in the Mid-Ohio Valley on the Muskingum and Ohio Rivers! We are offering a once in a lifetime quilt class as we head down the river with up to 30 participants. Boarding begins at 9am. The Valley Gem will depart the dock at 9:30am. We'll return to disembark around 4:30pm.
Required Class Supplies: Machine, thread, scissors, seam ripper, pins, dark and light fabric marking pen/cil(s), 12 1/2" square ruler and a 24 1/2" long ruler, 18" x 24" cutting mat(smaller ones are going to be a challenge). Please limit one mini iron per plug-in outlet (2 people).
We plan to provide: A limited number of ironing boards and irons, 24" x 36" cutting stations, a limited number of portable anti-pill fleece covered foam design boards, the Mystery Project pattern (free with class), and a day full of incredible sightseeing, sewcializin' and learning how to make a very unique Tablerunner!
Mystery Project Fabrics: Please see below for the MINIMUM amount of fabrics needed for each of three different sized projects. They are all made the same way. But the bigger projects will require additional fabric. A Fabric Key from our Sample Project is also provided below. Please stick to smaller prints in any colorway that includes: 3 shades of 1 color (Light, Medium, Dark), 1 Very Dark for contrast, 1 Medium Dark, and (1) Very Light for contrast. All 6 fabrics should coordinate and work well together.
